Craft-A-Lot Chelsea

I got a fabulous parcel from Colleen at Craft-A-Lot in my mailbox yesterday - I have so many things to show you over the next few weeks!  I've been so busy with my first stamp (The Greeting Farm - Wild Sprouts Chelsea), that I've ended up making several cards with her.  I always seem to struggle with getting the hair right with watercolouring, so I played around with a few different shades.  I took photos as I was going too, so I'll share my step-by-step process with you soon.  :-)

I used the gorgeous Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard patterned paper to paper piece Chelsea's dress with the intention of entering the set in the Ribbon Carousel Paper Piecing Challenge, but I missed the deadline!  *forehead slap*

Here she is anyway...

How cute is that dress in patterned paper?!

I only used So Saffron ink to colour the hair in this one.  I'll have another variation soon!

Challenges I'm entering:

Stamp sets - The Greeting Farm - Wild Sprouts Chelsea
Cardstock - White Cambric Linen, Old Olive, Watercolour paper, Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard patterned paper
Inks - Versamark, Blush Blossom, So Saffron, Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Accessories - Black embossing powder, Heat Tool, Big Shot, Nestibilities, MFT border die

Thanks for stopping by!  :-)
