Okay, so it's a tiny amount of stitching! I quite like it though.
Another feature I wanted to incorporate was to use my Papertrey Ink Moroccan Motifs Impression Plate - it's quite similar in design to the background stamp used in the CASE Study muse card by Heather Pulvirenti. You might be able to see it a little better in the next shot - the effect is simliar to a letterpress.
I paper pieced the girls clothes, but the rest of the image is watercoloured. I added shadowing on her clothes using Prismacolour pencils.
