Romantic Gwen - ISSC17 and Guest DT at The Stamp Spot

Hello!  Today I'm combining my iSpy Sketches post with my Guest DT Spot at The Stamp Spot!  I'm thrilled that Michelle invited me to do a guest spot on The Stamp Spot, and she's the perfect person to enable my developing obsession with Some Odd Girl stamps.  Aren't they cute?

For my card today I used Prismacolor Pencils to colour Romantic Gwen and then I fussy cut her out.  The patterned card stock behind her is some Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock.  If you haven't used Core'dinations ColorCore Cardstock before, it really is so easy to get brilliant effects.  I used some fine sandpaper to sand back the pattern - it's important to note that different grades of sandpaper give different results. They're just as pretty, but different nonetheless!

I paired Romantic Gwen with a sentiment from the Paper Smooches Sentiment Sampler.  Even though they're different companies, I think they're a great fit!  What do you think?

This week's iSpy Sketches Challenge sketch is based on this card from Amy Rhol.

Head to the iSpy Sketches Challenge blog to see the beautiful work from the DT, and to The Stamp Spot too!
