UnityTV - My Cracked Glass Video

Hi!  I'm back to share a Cracked Glass video I did for UnityTV this week.

When I chose the stamps I wanted to work with, She Sprouted Bitty Wings and Lovely Day, I knew I had to use some of the gorgeous Seam Binding from the Ribbon Carousel to compliment it.  :-)  I think it's a perfect match for the Bazzill card stock I used too...

Isn't that Walnut Seam Binding delicious?  In the video, I show how I tie a bow with it, as well as watercoloring the image and creating the Cracked Glass Effect with Franklin Opals Embossing Enamel.

I used Bazzill card stock in Candy Bar and Butter Mints.  LOVE this card stock!  It's the perfect weight for me.

And here's the video!

Thanks for visiting!  :-)

Say It With A Sketch - ABSC051

Hello again!  I'm late with my AnnaBelle Stamps Challenge post this week because we had a very sick cat yesterday.  I'm a complete softie when it comes to animals, especially my cat, so I was a bit beside myself!  He's home now and much better than he was yesterday.  :-)

Anyway, on to the good stuff!  It's a sketch challenge at the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog this week...

The Design Team have absolutely outdone themselves this week.  Do your eyes a favour and go and have a look!

Here's my interpretation...

I love this bird cage from Love Birds, it's the perfect size and shape.

Make sure you check out the gorgeous DT creations on the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog!

Red, White and Blue - A TAWS Sneak Peek

Are you ready for another TAWS Sneak Peek?  I'm using the Alphabet Soup set.  :-)

When I was making this card for the TAWS Sneak Peeks, I wanted to also use some other fabulous goodies that I just received - some WOW Embossing Powders that I was delighted to win.  These babies are AWESOME!

Did you see the &??  That's their Clear MATT Embossing Powder!  Cool, huh!  For those times when you want to match your card stock but don't want a glossy finish!

So this is also for the WOW Embossing Powder June Challenge they're running, which is "The Best Of British".  I know, I know... this is more American, right?  I figured that the colours are the same... and they're also the same for Australia!  It's a bit nationality-confused... lol

The gorgeous ribbon is the 3/4" Red Satin/Horizontal Stripes Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel.  And the card stock is Peanut Cluster from the Bazzill Card Shoppe range.  LOVE this card stock!

Thanks for stopping by!  Make sure you head to the TAWS blog to see all the sneak peeks so far!

RCC59 - Paper Piecing At The Ribbon Carousel

I'm back with a card for the Ribbon Carousel Paper Piecing Challenge.  I love paper piecing.  You can get such pretty effects.

I've used the Gorjuss Alice from Craft-A-Lot and I coloured her with Prismacolor Pencils (where it isn't paper pieced!).  I've also used some 1.5" Champagne Net Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel on the panel behind the image.  For some reason, I just could not get a focused photo of the ribbon!  I think it's because of the shadowing it's creating, but it is very pretty in real life.  :-)

Hope to see you joining in with the Ribbon Carousel Challenge!

And I followed the Retro Sketches Challlenge again.  Love this layout!

Say It In... Grey, Blue & Artichoke - AC077

Today at the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog, we're Saying It In Grey, Blue and Artichoke.  These are 3 colours that I ordinarily wouldn't put together, but after seeing the gorgeous DT creations I'll be re-thinking that!

I die cut a butterfly mask, blended some Distress Inks with my Ink Blending Tool, and then stamped Backgrounds By Design 2 over the top in white pigment ink.  I really love the effect!

Make sure you check out the gorgeous DT creations on the AnnaBelle Stamps Blog!

Dream In Color - TAWS and FWAB

Hello!  I have a challenge entry for the Flourish With A Bling June Sketch Challenge to share.  My fabulous friend Amanda Reddicliffe is on the FWAB Design Team and she's hosting the challenge this month with a gorgeous CAS style sketch that's right up my alley.

I've used a sentiment from Chatterbox from The Alley Way Stamps, did you see on my sidebar that I've joined their DT?  :-D

I've used the Teal Grace Pearl Flourish from FWAB, a part of it anyway!

And here's the  FWAB June Sketch  if you'd like to join in.

Thanks for stopping by!  :-)
