Jinxed... ISSC06

I think I jinxed myself.  Last week I commented that I was enjoying how my  iSpy Sketches cards have been turning out... but this week I can't decide if I like my finished card or not!  I frustrated myself completely while I was making it the other day, so I had to take a step back from the craft table for a while.  lol  Does anyone else do this??  I'm happy with all the elements, it just doesn't seem to gel...  Or maybe I've been looking at it for too long.  :-)

So here it is, even though it's late...


 And here's the sketch (ISSC06) based on this card from Patter Cross.  It's so pretty! 


I'm actually quite happy with the colouring - I watercoloured with Distress Inks and Stains.  LOVE these.  And the shadowing is an attempt to channel my inner Kim Teasdale - check out her tutorial HERE for how to do it. :-)


The gorgeous stamp I've used is from Love Birds by AnnaBelle Stamps.

    This is a BEAUTIFUL colorful card, Danielle! And I have to step away from the craft room every so often (more than I wanna admit!) to clear my creative mind and get a clear perspective on a project. I think we all do. :)

    *happy sigh* Your colouring is phenomenal and your colour combo for the card just makes me so happy! Love it! BTW...I'm pretty sure that you could make a piece of trash into a thing of beauty! Talented, is what you are ;D

    Super fabulous! I think you've been looking at it too long, we all get too hypercritical of ourselves at times. Awesome colours and colouring!
