A Few Challenges With Chester...

A few weeks ago I entered a blog candy competition from Hilde Larsen at her blog Tinderloo In Cyberspace, and I was one of the lucky winners!  So earlier this week I was excited to discover an envelope of goodies in my letterbox, including some gorgeous stamped motifs for me to colour - YAY!  And the first one I have to share with you is this Kraftin' Kimmie cutie called Chester.  :-)

I based my design on 3 different challenges that I wanted to enter (details below) to use stamps, ribbon and text.

I like how the word "fancy" fits so well next to Chester!  The paper itself was a bit too bold, so I added a layer of vellum over the top to soften it and draw more attention to Chester.

And here are the details of the challenges I'm entering:

Ribbon Carousel Challenge - RCC3 Clean It Up.  Like my last post, my card doesn't use as much "white space" as I intended, but I still think it's a fairly Clean and Simple card.  And yes, it's a mirror image of my previous layout!

I'm also entering the challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie - Challenge #79 - *Text* Me!!  It's the first time I've played along at Kraftin' Kimmie, but I've been an admirer of the blog for a while now.

And the final challenge I'm entering is Wee Memories Challenge #57 to "Stamp It"!  I haven't played along with Wee Memories for a while, but it's another gorgeous challenge blog that's well worth a look.

Thanks for visiting, and a HUGE thankyou to Hilde Larsen for sending me some brilliant images to play with!
