Truer Than True

This card started off as an entry in the CASE Study Challenge #3.  But the more I worked on it, the less it became like the inspiration piece!  I'll enter it anyway, but it's definitely not where I was heading with it!

There's absolutely no stamping involved in this one, all rub-ons.  These are rub-ons I bought a few years ago because I adore the sentiment!

I'm embarrassed to say this card took me hours to get together.  I tried a few different things before I settled on this.  I've been a bit vague lately and time mysteriously slips by without me accomplishing much!

Cardstock - Naturals Ivory, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Accessories - Fancy Pants Rub Ons, Big Shot, Nestabilities

  1. Strange how a card takes a completely different direction sometimes! I still like this, and I can see where the elements of the CASE study are on it so I'm happy you entered it still! Love that sentiment!
Thanks so much for taking part in this week's CASE study!

  2. I love Danielle, Yes it's funny how some very simple cards takes hours. Some of mine have taken days,

  3. Great colors Danielle! And Dr. Seuss really knew what he was talking about because this is a great sentiment. Applies for inspiration also, you never know what someone is going to draw from a project and create! Thanks for playing along at CASE Study!

  4. Oh Danielle I do that ALL the time, start in one direction and end up in a totally different one- creative genius at work I say- well that's my excuse!! I love this one, great colours and the sentiments is a real winner!! thanks for joining us again at CASE study!!

  5. Lol Danielle, I never know how my cards are going to end up like, when I start! :)
I really like this one - the sentiment is great, and the card is whimsical and fresh. Wonderful inspired piece!
Thanks so much for playing with us again - we love it when you do! xxx
