CASE Study Challenge #2

Have you been to check out CASE Study yet?  It's a fabulous new challenge blog, and it has a divinely talented DT.  I missed out on entering the very first challenge last week, but this week I'm quick off the mark!

The challenge is to create a paper crafting project based on the inspiration they've provided.  Each month they have a muse who provides the inspiration pieces, and this month it's Makiko Jones.  Go to the challenge post to see all the inspiration!

My entry is really only like the inspiration piece in terms of the layout.  But that's the point of inspiration, isn't it?  Take a starting point and go with it.  Well, here's what I got...

The colours are more muted in real life, I'm not sure why they look so vibrant on my screen!

The stamp I've used is a Sugar Nellie design from the Gorjuss range.  Isn't she sweet?  I'm also entering this card in the PCP Challenge for Sugar Nellie which is to use Autumn colours.

Materials:
Stamp sets - Gorjuss by Sugar Nellie, Autumn Flair
Cardstock - Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Watercolour paper
Inks - Versamark, Blush Blossom, Really Rust, More Mustard, Close to Cocoa
Accessories - Black embossing powder, heat tool, Aqua Painter, Stampin' Dimensionals, Chocolate Chip ribbon
