Simple Asian Artistry

I was looking at this challenge on Simplicity for creating a simple, one layer, watercolour card and thought I'd have a go.  I'm not sure that I like my card though.  I think it's too simple...  But I thought I'd share it because I love how Asian Artistry looks using Watercolour Wonder Crayons!

Materials:
Stamp sets - Asian Artistry
Cardstock - Naturals Ivory
Inks - Watercolour Wonder Crayons - Garden Green, Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa
Accessories - Water spray

  2. It is perfect as is; I struggle with the 'too simple' thing, too.

  6. Allow me to disagree. This is NOT too simple...it's perfect! The natural paper really makes this extra-special. LOVE YOUR CARD!

  7. Oh my goodness what a perfectly elegant card! Just PERFECT! The colors, the delicacy, the slight imperfectness I love about watercoloring, the sentiment, the paper....it all makes it obvious you have the true-artist gene. Hopefully you'll keep doing the one-layer challenges so we get to see more of your talent. Course, I COULD just become a follower of your blog, but then I would be cruising instead of creating.....short on time.

    Thanks for sharing.
