Just Add Ink Challenge #18

Amanda recently told me that I have a "cool-minimalist" style to my cards.  (Thanks, Amanda!)  I don't know about that, (personally, I'd say plain), but my challenge card for Just Add Ink this week is definitely minimalist!  And for a minimalist card, there sure was a lot involved...

The base cardstock is Sahara Sand and I sponged Versamark all over it using scrunched up cling wrap - it gives a cool suede effect.

I clear embossed Organic Outlines several times on Urban Oasis DSP, and then brayered over the clear embossing in Basic Black. My aim was to get a panel that didn't have a whole image on it - I wanted Organic Outlines to not look like it usually does... Okay, so I've confused myself now...

Then I layered everything on Basic Black and Sahara Sand (all using the suede effect again).  The sentiment is from Best Yet and is black embossed.

And here's the sketch for this week's challenge.  Make sure you head over to Just Add Ink and check out the fabulous Design Team projects!
