Olivia's First Haircut

Yes, Olivia is two and a half, and today she had her very first haircut!  She's always had really fine hair and it's taken all this time for it to grow to a 'girly' length!  But it was looking a bit wispy and straggly at the ends so off to the hairdresser's we went.

I was a bit worried about how she'd go because she's never been to a hairdresser's before, but she was fantastic!  She firmly, but politely, refused the black cape to protect her clothes, but it was smooth sailing from there.  So now she sports a cute little bob with a touch of layering around her face...

Of course, no girl's trip to the hairdresser's is complete without a little product, so Olivia had mousse put through the ends.  Very cute!!

  1. Glad she was good about the haircut. She looks lovely. Still has some length which is nice. All these little things are what makes being a parent so special.

  2. I think if she had a choice, she'd put soap in instead of mousse :) It possibly has the same effect! :)
